What if I missed fall open enrollment?
If you missed open enrollment, most health insurance companies will tell you that you’re out of luck, so you’d best hope you don’t get hurt or sick in the interim. Finding healthcare that will cover the things you need at a reasonable rate is no easy task. This flawed method which is used by the majority of health insurance companies is unacceptable. My Nova Healthcare is an alternative insurance plan that may be just what you’re looking for.
Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, Chiropractic treatment, Naturopathic and Homeopathy, Physical Therapy and authorized Supplements & Essential Oils are all available via our plan. These are products and services that are very important to our Members. Since many of our Members currently utilize these services, it is advantageous to apply these expenses to their deductible, allowing them to meet their deductible sooner. Allowing our Members to apply these services to the deductible means they can significantly reduce the deductible much faster.
How My Nova Healthcare Works
We’re here to assist you in discovering natural paths to well-being. If you often use wellness services to stay healthy, such as vitamins, chiropractic treatment, massage therapy, essential oils, and acupuncture, save and submit your receipts for these services and products.
These receipts must be submitted to the claims department, where they can be applied as an allowance to your annual deductible. The cash you spend on different kinds of health and wellness services will count toward your deductible before your deductible has been reached. After you have met your deductible, you may be reimbursed for subsequent wellness checkups and supplements up to your maximum benefit limit. All health and wellness service receipts, including visits and the purchase of supplements, essential oils, etc., must be submitted within 30 days of service or purchase. It is your responsibility to confirm that we have received the receipts. You can request confirmation via email by contacting claims@mynovahealthcare.org. Please remember that services in this category will not be reimbursed until the deductible has been met. *Please see the maximum benefit limits under “Coverage Limits.” These can be combined in any of the services shown in the limitations below.
